Default Character Pitch

I need to change the character pitch with my Dell Laser Printer 1710n. I use
a program called Lightspeed which requires a different picth than what it is
now printing.

Default RE: Character Pitch

The character pitch can also be given as elite (12 characters per inch),
pica (10 characters per inch), or compressed (as many characters per inch as
possible).
Check your print settings.
