Fax printer

Can't add the Fax Printer to my WindowsXP Home version group of printers.
Does
anybody know how to add the fax printer?

Russ,
I did, to the letter and still nothing happens and there are not errors
in any of the event logs. So, How do I troubleshoot Windows XP when the 'Fax
Printer' is missing and I want to add the 'Fax Printer' when none of the
suggestions in http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/FAQFAX.htm
will solve my problem?

There seems to be a disconnect here, or as the Captain put it, "What we've got
here is failure to communicate."

1. What "link to 'Add Fax printer'" are you trying to click on, and where are
you seeing this link?
2. Did you install the Windows XP Fax Services? If not, what happened why you
tried to do so? List any error message verbatim.
3. What make and model modem do you have?
4. What version of Windows are you using? Choose Start | Run, type "cmd" and
press Enter to open a Command Prompt window. Type "winver" and press Enter to
display a window with your Windows version, build number, and service pack.
Please list all three.
