I am trying to print across a firewall. My configuration is shown below
: [Firewall A] 192.168.1.X / | / Client (XP Professional) --Subnet B---------[Firewall B] (192.168.2.X) | Print Server ( 2K professional) I have opened the HTTP and HTTPS ports on firewall B as also the netbios ports ( just in case ) for subnet 192.168.1.X . But I am unable to see any of the printers on the print server.I am able to hit the HTTP page ( http://printserver ip/printers) but it does not display any printers. I am able to map the drives on print server B. Also if I connect the client to the subnet B, then I am able to list and connect to the printers the 2k box. What am I doing wrong here ? |
