When going through the troubleshooting and trying to align new print
cartridges the section where d1-d5 are supposed to align don't even print out. |

What printer make and model?
If red prints as yellow, it's likely that the cartridges are installed in incorrect locations. You know it turned out to be a bad ink cartridge. The color cartridge did
not dispense red ink so I put in a new one and it all works fine. I guess we forget about KISS. Thanks for your time.
