Can't align print cartridges and red prints out as yellow

When going through the troubleshooting and trying to align new print
cartridges the section where d1-d5 are supposed to align don't even print out.

What printer make and model?
If red prints as yellow, it's likely that the cartridges are installed in
incorrect locations.

You know it turned out to be a bad ink cartridge. The color cartridge did
not dispense red ink so I put in a new one and it all works fine. I guess we
forget about KISS. Thanks for your time.
