My HP 7310 printer is connected directly to my router along with my 3 PCs and the cable modem. All three computers are running Windows XP Home Edition. I get a print error when I try to print from a limited user account. I have McAfee virus scan. Two of my computers are able to access the printer without a problem from limited user accounts; one (which I just reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition due to my children having messed it up) will not print to the network printer. I tried HP Support; but, they were useless -- they do not understand the difference between XP Pro and XP Home Edition. Any help would be appreciated. -- dcooper000 |

On the PC which won't print...... go to the Control Panel and click on
Printers & Faxes... right click on the printer, then click on Advanced..... set it to print direct to printer instead of using the spooler. Does it now print? -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "dcooper000" <dcooper000.20oaj0@pcbanter.net> wrote in message news:dcooper000.20oaj0@pcbanter.net... > > My HP 7310 printer is connected directly to my router along with my 3 > PCs and the cable modem. If the Print Spooler is not started, nothing is going to print at all.
