I have been trying to install FAX Services on my Compaq Presario (Windows XP
Home) unsuccessfully. Have received many helpful suggestions but they all seem to center around using Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor. They suggest selecting that program from the list provided when I try to open it. It is not on the list with Notepad, WordPad, etc. and I can't find it anywhere on my machine. At least I can't find it by that name. Where can I find it? If I sound a little sharp here it is probably because of trying to deal with Compaq Support to no avail. Please forgive me. Thank you very much. |

The Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor is named "wextract.exe" and it's located in
the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE -- hhh@kvoa.com Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP-Print/Imaging -- WA7BGX http://www.kvoa.com -- "When News breaks, we fix it!"
