Default Insatlling FAX services on a Compaq Preario.

I have been trying to install FAX Services on my Compaq Presario (Windows XP
Home) unsuccessfully. Have received many helpful suggestions but they all
seem to center around using Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor. They suggest
selecting that program from the list provided when I try to open it. It is
not on the list with Notepad, WordPad, etc. and I can't find it anywhere on
my machine. At least I can't find it by that name.

Where can I find it?

If I sound a little sharp here it is probably because of trying to deal with
Compaq Support to no avail. Please forgive me.

Thank you very much.

You can get an Expand utility by running MSCONFIG.EXE from the Run
line of the Start menu. There is an Expand Button on the initial
page.

The Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor is named "wextract.exe" and it's located in
the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder.
