Default Printer Sharing

I'm trying to set up sharing of my HP printer that's attached directly to my
laptop. I run Windows XP, and I've already set my printer to be shared over
the wireless network, and have given it a share name. It's my husband's
laptop that I'm having trouble with. When I try to run the Add Printer
Wizard, I can't get his laptop to "find" my printer. I get 3 options, "Find
a printer in the Directory" (doesn't show up, only the printers located at
his work), "Type in printer name to browse Directory", or "Connect to a
printer on the Internet or on your Intranet". His laptop is his work laptop,
running Windows 2000 and he has to use a VPN to access our wireless router to
get onto the Internet. What else do I need to do, so he can access my
printer to be able to print? Thanks!

Default Re: Printer Sharing

He can't be in a Workgroup AND a Domain at once.... One or the other. He
won't find your notebook and printer until he quits out of his VPN.
