Recently I switched all printing in the office to IP based printing. We
used the net use lpt1 command to direct legacy dos programs to print to a particular printer. Since the switch the net use lpt1 command is not responding. It gives me an error 85 and states that the device is already in use. I've disabled the LPT port in the bios on my machine and manually entered the Net use command in a command window ...with the same error. The printers are run thru a Win2k pro box. I can copy a test file to any printer by "copy file \\server\printer" Thanks in advance Dan |
