Something has loaded itself on my system, and locked out my access to my
toolbars on Internet Explorer. I can show the toolbars after clicking on the View menu, but all are grayed out. Additionally, my Address bar, which was permanently selected, was deselected by this invader. I am running Norton anti-virus with automatic updates, and it is not recognizing any viruses. I also run Ad-Aware and its not picking up any spyware or anything else that I can't quarantine. There are no programs loaded which could cause the problem, and I have run several utilities to clean up my system, but nothing touches this problem. I assume I have registry entries that are causing this, but I am reluctant to mess areound in there for obvious reasons. Can anyone help? Thanks -- Steve |
