I am being told that this file is a piece of damaging spyware. Can you tell
me if it is safe to delete, or whether it is actually a part of the Windows XP system? |

If you meant URLHIST.TLB, see these.
Symantec Security Response - Spyware.WinSpy http://securityresponse.symantec.com...re.winspy.html I am not recommending that your purchase PestPatrol, but this link has info about URLHIST.TLB. eTrust Spyware Encyclopedia - Win-Spy Pro 8.5 http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/p...x?id=453094267 Niether URLHIST.TLB or URLHIST.TLE are part of Windows XP. I have no .tle files of any kind on my machine. ..tlb files appear to be a Visual Basic type library (typelib) file for ActiveX components. -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
