i am using norton internet security 2005, which was installed around november
05, but it says that my subscription is up for renewal in feb 06, i have
tried to contact customer support but i am just going round in circles. i
have also checked my date/time as well as runninng live update which is
suggested on their support page. i thought i would have a years subscripton
from the time i bought it-not till the end of the year!has anyone else come
accross this problem??

Yes, if you first installed it in Novembar then your subscription should be
good until November 2006. It hadn't been installed previously on that or
another computer, had it? What do you mean you're going "around in
circles" whn you tried to contact them? Have you tried writing them and
describing your problem? If not, I'd suggest doing so at the following
