I got this application that usally runs on Win server 2000/2003. As a step in
the installation I need to set full control to user gorup 'everyone' in file system security. XP do not have the same security tab as server version do. I tried to create the user 'everyone', but that user already exist but do not show. Is there som way around this problem. Is it possible to define access to a user in i.e. registry? |

Believed solution.
1) Convert from FAT to NTFS 2) Turn of Simple Security in Folder Options/View. |

Not because of some setting - but because there is no security in FAT32 to speak of. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
