Any ideas on how to access info on a 2nd hard drive after reinstalling
windows xp? The files are there, I just can't access them. The previous help received did not accomplish this, please see below. Thanks. I tried the steps under the "How to take ownership" link you provided, and everything appeared to work correctly. All the permissions were changed. However when I rebooted and tried to access the files in my slave hard drive, nothing appeared. Any other suggestions? Thanks. You may need to import the foreign NTFS disk.
In Computer Management goto disk management and import the disk if it shows as foreign. A.
