Windows XP Pro
Name1 has admin privileges. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Event Properties: Logon Failure: Reason: Account locked out User Name: Name1 Domain: Name2 Logon Type: 2 Logon Process: User32 Authentication Package: Negotiate Workstation Name: Name2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Name1 Properties: Name1 Full name: Description: User must change password at next logon [GHOSTED] User cannot change password X Password never expires Account is disabled Account is locked out [GHOSTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -NET USER NAME1 (command): User name Name1 Full Name Comment User's comment Country code 000 (System Default) Account active Yes Account expires Never Password last set 10/26/2005 6:57 PM Password expires Never Password changeable 10/26/2005 6:57 PM Password required Yes User may change password Yes Workstations allowed All Logon script User profile Home directory Last logon 10/21/2005 5:47 PM Logon hours allowed All Local Group Memberships *Administrators *Debugger Users Global Group memberships *None The command completed successfully. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the info! The account's password was not set to expire, and everything looks right, except that it does not appear in Control Panel/User Accounts or the Welcome Screen, and the "Classic Logon" doesn't work. What's the problem? What caused this? And most importantly HOW DO I FIX IT? Now, do I have to reformat and reinstall windows almost every month? This is so focking retarded! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't expect compensation or attribution, but here are some features I expect be included in the upcoming Windows Vista: 1. Incorporate the file system into the registry. 2. Include a fart sensor (to be incorporated in the seat by the user) with the next Windows release, and have the output logged into the registry. 3. Make ALL files excutable. 4. Execute ALL files with rundll32.exe 5. Hide file extensions from the user. Wait, this is done already! 6. Rename all files as soon as they are installed to very long hex strings, so as to hide from the user, among others, the biometric fart logs. |
