Use of 'Rook Kit Revealer' resulted in identification of the following
regis. key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\RNG\Seed -- There is an 80 byte data mismatch between the windows API and the Raw Hive Data. I'm pretty sure that the Reg Key above was identified because the Registration Key changes in value depending on input information--- Thus, it would not be indicative of a rootkit Now the 64million$ question, Am I CORRECT? Thankyou for your help, Paranoid Surfer |
