An administrator is all powerful on the computer and if restricted can undo
the restrictions to himself if he knows how. A power user is equivalent to the old regular user found in NT4.0 and can install many applications, create shares, and create and manage users that he creates other then administrators. A power user can also mess up a computer pretty badly since he has write access to the system and program files folder unlike regular user. The link below explains more. --- Steve http://www.wellesley.edu/Computing/WinXP/wxpgroups.html "Sudhakar Govindavajhala" <sudhakarg79_re_move_me@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:7EAF6011-0E73-4801-822D-FB02D1557B51@microsoft.com... > > Hi all, > > Can someone tell me what is the difference between the Power Users group > and > the Administrators group?
