What is SKIP-MC-GIKREQ? Is it a security hazard?

My WinXP PC just popped up this warning from Sygate Personal Firewall:

Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (Acrobat.exe) is being contacted
from a remote machine [206.13.28.12]
using local port 1660 (SKIP-MC-GIKREQ - skip-mc-gikreq).
Do you want to allow this program to access the network?

A reverse DNS of 206.13.28.12 simply says
206.13.28.12 PTR record: dns1.snfcca.sbcglobal.net. [TTL 7200s]
[A=206.13.28.12]

What is this "SKIP-MC-GIKREQ" gobbledegook?
Is it dangerous?

Pamela
