XP Pro, SP2
I'm using Yahoo Music Engine. My Norton Personal Firewall tells me the app is trying to listen for connection (TCP) on Port 80. Is that OK? Thanks. |

Port 80 is a typical http traffic port. Yahoo music uses http to communicate
with the music server. I wouldn't stress too much about it, but always make sure that your virus definitions are up to date. If the program in question is some kind of sharing app then I would not have
a problem with it. I would make shure that all contents of the share folder are scanned for virii etc on create. |
