I'm an administrator and I'd like to trace my users action on the PC's -
something like playback of the displays. Specifically I want to be able to
restore the activities, including the displays, that they have been passing
through( probably by recording the key strokes or some other way).

Can someone recommend on some software?

Google for "keylogging software" if you are so inclined. Personally, I have
to ask why you'd want to do this - are people doing something they oughtn't?
Taking steps to prevent same may be a better course of action.

I have not tried it myself but Spector Pro may be something that can come
close to do what you want. See the link below for more details. --- Steve
