how to disable?

Default how to disable?

Is it possible to be able to disable my present security system(trend-micro)

i dont mean uninstall it! i've tried to do that but i cant.i dont know the
password to gain access to uninstall.

I want to try to disable (trend-micro)in order for me to download macafee
7,which i had installed before i had trend-micro installed? someone else
installed trend-mocro and i want to be able to disable it,so i can
resubscribe to macafee full security suite!

You should check with Trend-Micro's tech support for help with their
products.

And just an add on to Malke's advice .If you contact Trend Micro ,do not tell
them why exactly you want to uninstall it.You'll have better support ,trust
me

Disabling it is insufficient. Its installation and presence, even if
disabled, can interfere with other similar-function software. Choose one
and go with that one.
