My laptop got messed up by some faulty software and I cannot get pass the
login screen (the system freezes at that point, the password cannot be typed
in). So I am trying to access it from another computer, but I was unable to
access a particular user, under whose account I have a lot of documents.

The problematic laptop: Windows XP-SP1 professional
The 2nd laptop to access the problematic laptop: Windows 2000
