I have SP2. How do I stop the "security center" from notifying me of an
available security update? I don't use Outlook and it continues to inform me of a security update for Outlook junk e-mail filter! I chose the option to "Don't notify me about these updates again" but Windows continues to ask me if I want to download and install the update. Any help? |

APPLIES TO WINXP only
Open the control panel then "security center" look on the left hand side under "Resources" then under that "change the way security center alerts me." Alternativly you can turn automatic updates off via the Automatic Updates in the control panel..
