What I'm looking for is exactly the opposite of what the original post asked.
For some reason one of my Windows XP Media Center Edition automatically logs into my account. I don't want it to do that. I've looked extensively though the options available for users and have setup my system to require a password on that account to login. However whenever I reboot, this one computer automatically logs into the first account I setup on this computer. How can I get it to require a password entry before logging in? I'm at a loss and can't find an answer after many attempts searching through the knowledge base. What bugs me even more is I have two other Windows XP Media Center Edition PCs that don't do this to me. Help! Basically you're setting it to require user/pass to access the PC. -- Galen - MS MVP - Windows (Shell/User & IE) http://dts-l.org/ "We approached the case, you remember, with an absolutely blank mind, which is always an advantage. Thanks Galen! I thought for sure I had this set correctly, but when I looked
based upon your suggestion, that option was unchecked! Now it works properly. Before it would automatically login to my account whenever the PC booted up. I have really disliked that all this time! Happy New Year to you!
