With SP2 installed my wireless internet connection on my PC will not work (no
matter how much I change the SP2 settings), when I uninstall SP2 it works
fine. When I connect via ethernet cable, the internet connection works with
SP2 installed and my lap top wireless connection works with SP2 installed. I
would like to get SP2 working with my wireless connection on my PC. Any
ideas/answers?

I would suggest the following

there is something blocking the connection
- try a clean boot
- check for any fire wall software try un installing it from the system
- the router may have to be configured by the manufacture of the router
