Accessing Saved Passwords

I am using WinXPPro SP2 on a home desktop. Once upon a time back in Win95/98
days, one could find a file that had the stored passwords for the computerm,
in a readable format. Does XP Pro have something akin to that, and if so,
where and how do I find it? Help and Support seems to address only the user
account logon password.

I am trying to retrieve a password I saved via the Windows "save password"
dialog box for a particular web page.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Note: Some antivirus software products block this program, actually treat it as a virus, because it can recover your stored passwords.
