Default Access Denied to folder with XP Server 2003

I have 3 folders dml, david, david backup which I cannot view or access
contents. Properties show this as 0 bytes of info but if I view in dos I can
see all contents. XP server will not let me Share, take control or change
permissions of these foldsers. XP server 2003 is running SP1

Cannot view/access from where? From a domain administrator's account on
the server or from your workstation? Please describe the issue more
fully. Where on the server are the files?

Wesly, I tried that and still cannot get ownership. I am working directly on
the server terminal.

Then you must have set the permissions on the folders incorrectly. When
you right-click on the folders and look at the permissions (advanced)
who is the Owner? Also look at Effective Permissions.
