Default I don't have some updates

Hi everybody !

Recently I re-installed my Windows and as always I turned on the firewall
and went to the Windows Update site.Installed all updates ,all which were
there.
I was relax...

I have Panda Titanium and it detects Windows vulnerabilities ,so it detected
I DO NOT have
ms05-039 (899588)
ms-5-046 (899589)
ms05-048 (907245)

I have Windows XP SP 2 and these updates are important.
I also checked manually and I do not have them.Check with the WinUpdate
history -I haven't installed them.
When I now goto Win Update site ,NO NEW HIGH PRIOROTY UPDATES
My question is:

Why Windows didn't deliver these for my computer?????????
What to do,do I need to apply them manually from the TechNet?
I am still ^protected^ using Win Update???

Thank you very much !!!Your help is much appreciated!

Default Re: I don't have some updates

I would use Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer to see what it reports
also. You can search for any update to get more information and download the
update if you want as the link below as an example. If MBSA does not report
them as missing it would be really curious as to why Panda Titanium does and
I would email then explaining that Windows Update and MBSA says I am good
for critical security updates but your product says I am not so what gives??

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS05-039.mspx

You can also do more research on security updates at the link below. It
shows that MS05-046 and MS05-048 are listed as important and not critical
and that may explain why those two are found as usually users do not install
"important" updates. MS05-039 has been replace/combined with many other
later critical security updates which may have some bearing on why that is
being shown and you would be protected if any of those updates have been
installed. --- Steve

Thanks Steve !
Very much !!!!!!!!

MSBA also says I am ok.Only Panda reports these 3 as not applied and
redirects me to Windows Update.
Panda is wrong ,I understood-the vulnerability checker is new ,I'll report
the wrong.

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!
