I encrypted some files and now cannot find where they are. How can I find
them? Please help |

Do a search ?? If you are using EFS to encrypt them,
the file names are still the same if I remember correctly. If you used something else, then you will have to remember at least part of the name you gave them. Look for green file names.
Encrypted NTFS files are displayed in green... if this option is selected in Folder Options... Start | Run | Type: control folders | Click OK | View tab | Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color [[Specifies that the names of files you compress or encrypt on NTFS drives appear in a color when you view them in a folder window. This does not apply to folders you compress using ZIP compression utilities.]] -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
