I have used disc wiper to clear my hard drive and find that the operating
system has also been removed . All I get is message saying "missing operating
system "I have a XP INSTALLATION DISC but cannot get this to run .Help please

Curious, what did you expect to get by using disk wiper?
You boot from the CD and do a clean install.
