Hi,
I am running a small server using XP professional, I wish to a copy of Exchange server V4 withSP1 to form an e-mail client, when I run setup for the I386 folder on the disk I get a message say the installation will not carry on as the system cannot join to a windows NT domain, any ideas please. Based on the fact that Exchange 5.5 would not install on a standalone NT
Workstation, I guess that's about par for the course. You're going to need a domain controller of some sort to get this going. Or, look at alternative mailservers. (did I say that??? !!!) |
