Default Startup message after reinstall XP

Startup message after reinstall XP

After complete re-installation of Windows XP
On startup I get a basic message,
(white writing on black background),

"Please select operating system to start", with both options the same, i.e.
Microsoft Home Edition XP
Microsoft Home Edition XP
It also says
Up or down to highlight your choice.
Press enter to choose.
Seconds to start.....................20 19 etc
For troubleshooting and advanced options press F8

How can I remove this page without creating a problem ?
