My current cd seems to be damaged because it won't boot on my home computer
while i'm trying to repair the current install. Is there anywhere I can download the cd and burn it onto a dvd so I can continue? |

No.
If windows XP is retail contact Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326246 If Windows XP is OEM contact the seller, Microsoft may not be able to help with OEM. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Kit" <Kit@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news FA529D6-9AEA-437F-AFB0-EE5D0C6FD766@microsoft.com...> My current cd seems to be damaged because it won't boot on my home > computer > while i'm trying to repair the current install. > > Is there anywhere I can download the cd and burn it onto a dvd so I can > continue? |

Can you read the contets in Explorer? - the only folder you actually need is
I386. Not booting might be because the computer's BIOS is set not to do this. Try pressing Del at startup to get the settings-screen. Or, try pressing F12. Some systems use F12 as a CD-boot hotkey. If it's Dell, then the settings are accessed via F2. The boot-order is usually (but not always) on the "Advanced Chipset" page. |
