What happens when you try to activate?
Did you try the option to activate by phone? -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "lwk71883" <lwk71883@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:483F6DEA-EE5A-401E-82CD-4FBE5D3A6389@microsoft.com... >I have Windows XP Home 2002 SP1 and my hard drive crashed, need to >reinstall, > but cannot because I cannot reactivate the product. |

I had the same thing with my laptop. You need to call the great people at
Microsoft. They were there late at night, and I had NO problems when I explained to them what was wrong. I'm now fully activated. So call them. Unless you dont have genuine software...
