Is that setup the keyboard layout, regional setting or is the language that
is displayed on all your windows xp? If it is only regional settings, you can go to control panel-regional settings and change to english if it is about windows xp being in french, there is not way other that getting a new cd of windows xp in english "bourdon01@hotmail.com" wrote: > I would like to buy an laptop with a Windows XP. the set-up language in > France for the pc is french. It's not in function of the regional setup. I'have the "Recovery cd" in
English, French and Dutch of window XP. If the system works on the French version, can I reboot it, and use the English XP home disk...How do I have to do that. Since you are changing the language, you will probably need to start from
scratch using the English recovery CD. Different manufacturers set up their recovery CDs differently. Check your manual and/or contact the manufacturer for details. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "bourdon01@hotmail.com" <bourdon01hotmailcom@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6F5CF1EC-7CCE-41F7-81F0-98E19719FB35@microsoft.com... > It's not in function of the regional setup.
