Default new hard drive

I purchased a copy of Windows XP pro. It installed very nicely on my
computer. Subsequently when the hard drive crashed - i reinstalled without a
problem; so far so good. Later, when i needed to clean the hard drive - wipe
it out completely - and then reinstall XP - i get an error message something
to the effect of i have exceeded the number of times that I am allowed to
install this software!?! How do I get around this?? I am NOT a business i am
NOT trying multiple installs - but I would like to get the intended use out
of the software i paid for... any clues?

thanks.

Select the option to "activate by phone" to obtain a
new activation code.
