Floppy Drive does not recognize disk
..My OS: Win XP Pro /SP2. Floppy disk controller and Floppy disk drive are
both recognized in "Device Manager", and the "Device Status" states that both are working properly but, the device does not recognize a disk when it is inserted. I bought and installed a new floppy drive and I still have the problem. Please help

If this works then your problem is caused by Windows. It it fails then you have a hardware problem.
