Thank you very much for your reply and your patience. I knew that she will still in the same situation if her friend's CD is not SP2 level, but at least it's still worth a try right? I won't be too worried about the license issue though; as soon as she fix the "repair install" problem she now has, she will upgrade to XP Pro using her new KEY/ License, so no problem there. (Technically, not legally) You people are great! Now I have a least two possible solutions and I hope they work. Happy New Year and thank you. |
