I have a 4 year old machine that I want to Upgrade. I know with Windows 98
you could just copy it over to a new hard drive through Safe Mode Diskcopy. Can I do this with Windows XP or is there something else I have to do? And also what will this do regarding my XP activation? |

Best to go clean and pristine this time. You'll have to do a phone activation unless you are using the volume licensed copy. Adam |
