For the first time since I built my PC, I received an error with Nero ( v
6.6.0.18). The advice I received on other forums is to remove the NVIDIA IDE channel driver, which appears to be the CK8S Parallel ATA Controller (v 2.5). Under Device Manager, that is the only critter to show up under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Being the worry wart that I am, if I uninstall the NVIDIA driver will WinXPPro2 reinstall the "native" IDE etc drivers?
