My e machine running XP comes up with an box saying "Please go to the
control panel to install and configure system components" when I now try to access a CD at D drive and a floppy at A drive. Which control panel does it mean and what do I do. I looked in the device manager within the system control panel and uninstalled and reinstalled the CD-Rom driver and it says it is working correctly. What is up and what do I do? Are the floppy drive and the CD on the same bus? Could one be affecting the other. My CD may have broken physically for it sounds louder and grinds a bit now. |

You need to find someone in your area to ask for help. Your questions are
such that any answer would be pages long and probably above your experience level.
