Default two windows operating systems on one computer

I reinstalled my operating system, Windows xp home edition, TWICE due to some
problems and now have two systems in place on my machine. I now have to
choose which system to use when starting my machine. How do I uninstall one
of the systems so that I do not have this situation?

I have two installations of Windows/Windows XP on the same partition.......
