Default saving attachments in xp

When I want to save a file from an email, I'd like to get the 'save
attachments' menu to go to 2-3 OTHER locations that I use often, to save the
files.
How can I change the 'look in' menu of the left on the save attachments
screen?

Default Re: saving attachments in xp

In Outlook Express the Save To box defaults to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{Your SID #}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\5.0
Value Name: Save Attachment Path
Value Type: REG_SZ
Value Data: Whatever path is here

If you're opening the attachment first and then selecting Save or Save As
from the File Menu, the Places bar is what I think you're referring to.

Places bar is on the left in this picture...

Use TweakUI, Edit the registry or use System Policy Editor.

Edit the Places bar locations in Open Save As common dialog boxes

[[This enables changing the location when a common dialog is opened. You can
use the default values or you can choose a custom location to open when a
common dialog box is opened.]]

Common Dialog Boxes
[[The common dialog boxes, such as the Save As dialog box, display the
places bar on the left side. These are shortcuts to common folders, which
make getting around much easier. By default, you see the History, Documents,
Desktop, Favorites, and My Network Places folders there. You can customize
the folders that appear in the places bar by using the Common Dialogs
category in Tweak UI.]]
