The problems we are having involved files saved on our server. From this
particular station, we'll open an AutoCAD file, no problem -- but sometimes
when we go to save it, we'll get a message that the file's in use by another
user (which it isn't) and can't be saved. As far as I can tell, it happens
completely at random.

*shrug* Gateway, where we bought the offending machine, offers both systems
on their computers for exactly the same price. I was accordingly shocked at
cost to upgrade from one to the other after the fact. Do you really expect
someone to cheerfully shell out two hundred bucks for what several posters
have now described as zero difference in performance?
