I've setup a test RIS server with a single base XP Pro image that was created
during the risetup.exe, all services and events on server look normal but workstations PXE booting give the error: "PXE-53: No Boot filename recieved" followed by "PXE-MOF:Exiting Boot Agent". This apparently means 'The client received at least one valid DHCP/BOOTP offer but does not have a boot filename to download' There is some documentation on the net saying that you need to enter 2 options in the DHCP scope (66 boot server & 67 bootfile name). ...67 bootfile name requires a specific value, what would that be? The RIS server is already listed as an authorised DHCP server. Any other ideas? |
