I have a nice new Laptop with xp home pre installed, I would like to use xp
pro on the laptop. I have xp pro running on my pc, which I would have given
to my niece.
Is it possible to uninstall xp pro from pc and revert back to home
edition,and install onto laptop

If it is a "retail version" of XP Pro, you can use it
to upgrade your laptop. However, you must reformat
the old computer's drive, then reinstall the original
Windows operating system on it first.
