I am building a new system. It is using a Biostar N325-A7 MB, nForce3 chipset
with an AMD Sempron 64 3300+ Upon trying to boot from teh WinXP CD ROM I get a message that says: Windows NT has not found enough extended memory. 7MB of extended memory is reuiqred to run Windows NT. YOu may need to upgrade your computer or run a configuration program provided by the manufacturer. Memory Map: 00000000 - 0009F800 This thing has 256MB or DDR400 memory in a single stick. I changed to a matched pair of 256MB sticks to make 512MB and get teh same messge with the same memory map. The BOS shows plenty of extended memory. -- Terry |

Power off board, locate the CMOS jumper pin on board, move the pin from the
1-2 position to the 2-3 position for 1.5 -2 minutes, then back to 1-2.Start com- puter, you'll need to reconfigure the BIOS settings before it'll run..Oh yeah, remove the battery before you place in 2-3,then back to 1-2,install battery, start computer. This clears the BIOS,actually before running any new board this must be done 1st...
