Our director has directed me to remove all of the games on our workstations.
The only ones that would have been installed are from the XP install in the first place. Is their a group policy I can use to remove all of these games so I don't have to spend the next couple months going from PC to PC? |

1. Click Start and select Run
2. Type: gpedit.msc in the text box and click on OK. 3. The group policy editor will load. Navigate through the folders and you will discover hundreds of items that you can limit access to and control. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows XP - Shell/User "RC" wrote: > Our director has directed me to remove all of the games on our workstations. > The only ones that would have been installed are from the XP install in the > first place. Thanks for the reply. This doesn't really tell me how to remove the games.
I've looked at gpedit and it doesn't have anything in it related to the games, or much else for that matter. What I need is a method to remove access to the games or even just remove the games on several hundred PCs (via Active Directory). "Carey Frisch [MVP]" wrote: > 1. Click Start and select Run > 2. The proper way to do this is using SYSOCMGR.EXE. You can provide it with an
answer file that says to remove the games (or any other Windows optional component). -Michael Niehaus Systems Design Engineer mniehaus@microsoft.com This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
