I cannot get a new iP2200 successfully installed on my basic NEC PowerMate
with MS-XP Home. I used to have an Epson installed, but it gummed up and quit. I am getting the message Missing File in a box with the heading AddPrinterDriver. I have tried the Canon CD and downloaded the driver from Canon themselves. Same problem. Is the missing file a Windows file? If so, what do I do, as my NEC came with XP Home loaded and no CD? I can load the other printer files (help, special easy functions etc.) but not the main driver. I'm getting desperate! Simon Stracey |
