Default WINDOWS XP Installaton with two SAST Disks

I have just installed XP on a new self built machine with two new WD 80 MB
SATA disks. One was formatted in the install process and appears as drive C.

There is no sign of the other disk, except in the device manager which shows
two disks, identical, and says both are functioning correctly.

My CDROM drive is drive D so I exprcted to see a drive E. I can see no way
of accessing this drive.

Can anyone help please??

Did you try right-clicking in Device Manager and initializing it?

In XP Pro, go Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management and
see if it's there; format it or whatever.
