SDK's for Win PE

Dear Group,
I have successfully launched Win PE on Virtual PC. I read through Win
PE documentation that it supports a subset of Win 32 API's. I was just
wondering if there are any specific SDK's or Developent Environment
available for writting programs for Win PE OS's? Or Do i need to take
care of API's while i write any program for Win PE?

For example, For Windows CE embedded development, we have SDK called
eMbedded Visual C++
and eMbedded Visual Basic. Are there any similar SDK's available for
Win PE
too?

Any pointers or links or hints are appreciated...
